Myles Garrett hit Jets QB Trevor Siemian hard, and the NFL hit Garrett back pretty hard, too.
The NFL has fined Garrett over $42,000 for two separate hits on Siemian in the Monday Night Football win over the Jets. The Browns defensive end was fined $21,056 for each hit.
Garrett was penalized 15 yards for each roughing-the-passer call during the game. The second hit ended Siemian’s season with an ugly-looking broken leg.
In two games this season, Garrett has earned over $52,000 in fines for hits. He also earned a fine for a facemask on Titans TE Delanie Walker in Week 1. He earns just over $200,000 per game.
