Myleene Klass has signed up for Dancing On Ice next year, it has been confirmed.
The 42-year-old is set to join the ITV skating show alongside other rumoured stars such as Denise Van Outen.
Her signing has come as a surprise to some as it had been believed she wanted to take part in BBC rival Strictly Come Dancing.
Myleene said of taking part: "I have a 13 year old daughter and a 9 year old daughter who are obsessed with ice skating.
"They both ice skate and I stand there and I hold the coats. That’s my role – to tie the shoelaces and hold the coats. Now it's my turn to learn and I can't wait!"
The singer and radio presenter is the first of 11 to be announced for the show, which will return in January next year.
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be returning to present as will judges Jane Torvill, Christopher Dean, Ashley Banjo and John Barrowman.
This comes just after Myleene's boyfriend Simon Motson popped the question to her earlier this month.
He had proposed after recreating their very first date, leaving her stunned.
Myleene, who shares one-year-old son Apollo with him, told Hello!: "When he got down on one knee and started fumbling around under the table, I thought he was joking.
"Then I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s for real’.”
