Myleene Klass: 'I caught my fiancé cheating with a celebrity at my own birthday party'

Myleene Klass has opened up about the painful moment she discovered her then-fiancé Graham Quinn in a compromising situation with a famous woman — during her own birthday party at home.

The musician and broadcaster, 47, was hosting the celebration when she walked in on Quinn and the unnamed celebrity on her balcony.

Speaking on the We Need To Talk podcast, Klass recalled: “I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony. I’m in my house. It’s my party. They weren’t having sex, but they were unzipping each other.”

“They said, ‘It’s not what you think,’ but I was like, ‘It is what I think.’ I kicked everyone out — including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said, ‘He doesn’t get it from me.’ I remember thinking that was quite a weird thing to say.”

Despite the betrayal, Klass said she stayed in the relationship and went ahead with the wedding. “He said it was the drink,” she said, calling the incident a “pretty big red flag.”

Myleene Klass appeared on Paul Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast (We Need To Talk podcast)

Klass married Quinn in 2011, ten years after they met when he was working as a bodyguard for her former band Hear’Say. But just six months after tying the knot — and with two young daughters, Ava and Hero — Quinn walked out on the family.

Reflecting on the celebrity involved, Klass said the woman has gone on to build a successful public image around a “family brand,” which made the experience even harder to process.

“I’ve made peace with that situation now,” she said. “But my life literally broke apart very very publicly. And their life? They’ve gone on to build a family brand on it. I wouldn’t wish it on a family — I feel conflicted — but it was incredibly hard.”

She declined to name the woman, telling podcast host Paul C Brunson: “That’ll definitely get your lawyers in a right old pickle.”

Klass also spoke about the pressure of protecting her children from gossip. “I have to take some responsibility,” she said. “First and foremost to my children. They’ve asked enough questions. But here’s the funny thing — school mums, people who just want to gossip, will go to your children before anybody else.”

Klass is now engaged to PR executive Simon Motson, with whom she shares a five-year-old son, Apollo.
