Myanmar worker injured in fall from building under construction

SONGKHLA: An unidentified Myanmar migrant worker was seriously injured after falling from a hotel building under construction in Hat Yai City on Sunday morning, police said.

The man was working on the second floor of the five-storey building on Thammanoon Withee road in front of the Hat Yai railway station when he accidentally touched a high-voltage electrical wire, causing him to fall down to the road below.

He was admitted to Hat Yai Hospital with serious injuries.

The worker was not immediately identified as no documents were found on him. The police were contacting his employer for further information.
