Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it’s up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in next Saturday’s paper.
This week’s question:
My wife, in her 50s and an ex-smoker, has been quoted £1,800 for teeth whitening. We can (just) afford it, but is this a good price? Also, is it actually worth it? Will they fade, can it damage the teeth, is it painful? We’d love to hear from others who’ve done it.
