'My tummy was so flat during pregnancy no one believed me until they saw my baby'

We've all heard of people accidentally assuming women are pregnant when they're not - but what about not believing someone is actually pregnant because their bump is so small?

Just as a little disclaimer - it's probably best if you just don't comment on women's bodies at all and wait until they tell you whether they're pregnant or not, but sadly, it doesn't always work that way.

One woman knows this all too well, as she found herself constantly having to justify her own pregnancy, after she had no bump at all while carrying her two children.

In fact, the mum who posts on The Harris Family ( @the.harris.familyy ) account on TikTok's stomach was so flat she wore bikinis throughout her entire pregnancy and no one believed she was carrying a child - until she gave birth.

"Has anyone else experienced no bump during their pregnancy?" the mum questioned in a clip, alongside lots of pictures of her in bikinis.

"When they don’t believe that you’re actually pregnant. Joke’s on you! Next minute… has baby."

In a follow up clip, the mum shared a photo of herself with a slight bump, explaining it was taken the day she was induced at 36 weeks and five days.

"As you can see, there is a little bit of a bump but not for that sort of gestation," she said, adding that her son Chase was delivered weighing 6lbs. "Bear in mind this is actually my second pregnancy ,and I also didn’t have a bump at all with my first."

The mum went on to share a clip of her mum when she was pregnant, proving that a small bump runs in the family, explaining: "It must be genetics because this is my mum at 32 weeks. Again, she has next to no bump, looking amazing."
