'My toddler daughter has her own self-care station - complete with make-up area'

A creative mum has built her toddler daughter a little 'self-care station' of her own to get ready in, and she even has designated areas for hair and make-up.

Many little girls enjoy getting ready with mum in the mornings, and - with this in mind - caring mum Chelsea has set up a little 'self-care station' for her young daughter in their family bathroom.

The adorable little set-up includes a tiny mini mouse potty, with shelves for fake hair accessories, toy make-up, and tooth care products, plus a sweet little mirror. It's a spot that many stylish adults would be proud to call their own.

Taking to TikTok, Chelsea - who goes by the username mrskcmama - wrote that she was "setting up a spot in our bathroom for our toddler so she can get ready with me in the mornings!"

The self-care station - which is decorated with fashionable black and white wallpaper - has proven to be a great hit with Chelsea's followers, many of whom have praised her for being so "extra".

One admiring mum hailed the station as "so cute", remarking that she'll have "to do this for my little one now".

Meanwhile, an excited aunt-to-be wrote: "My first-ever niece will be born in May, can’t wait to make all these little things for her".

In a second follow-up vid, Chelsea showed her daughter happily using her 'hairdryer', while a third clip showed Chelsea hanging up the little girl's rose-patterned dressing gown on a peg.

In another video, Chelsea gave people a better look at the toy make-up kit she'd bought for her daughter to play with, explaining: "The make-up doesn't actually rub off on anything. She loves it!"

With many of her followers keen to buy a set for their own children, Chelsea explained that she'd bought the Pixie Crush Kids Makeup Kit from Amazon.

One mum wrote: "Oh thank God for this makeup kit because I want to do this, but I was worried my kid would make a mess of herself while I was getting ready!"

Another declared that the clips of the makeover station were giving her "baby fever for a girl", while another suggested that the toddler "needs a little sink" to complete her pamper space.
