'My six-year-old gets up at 6am to cook for himself and do chores before school'

Every household is different, but it's fair to say that most six-year-olds will be used to having their parents running around after them, cooking their food and making sure they're safe and well.

In fact, most kids reach their teens before they're expected to considerably contribute to jobs around the house, whether it be cooking tea once a week or regularly emptying the dishwasher.

One six-year-old, however, has left people absolutely baffled after it was revealed he gets himself out of bed at 6am everyday, to cook for himself, before doing a load of household chores and then going to school.

A clip shared to the TikTok account @shopping666, a small boy can be seen hopping out of his double bed at the sound of his 6am alarm, before turning on his electric fire, picking out his clothes and steam cleaning them.

The youngster then shakes off the dust from his clothes and gets dressed, before brushing his teeth and washing his face.

The little boy then moves into the kitchen and can be seen hard boiling some eggs and blending some grains, before sitting down to eat breakfast.

He then washes up his bowl and tea cup, before getting on with more chores, including cleaning the toilet and shower, and washing clothes and vacuuming the carpet.

The youngster then rolled a foot spa over to his mother, who was relaxing on the couch, before polishing his shoes and heading off to school. Wow.

"My baby is six years old, and he gets up at six every day to cook for himself, do housework and then go to school," the caption reads.

"So he's ready to move out then," one follower commented, while another added: "I'm calling child protection services, let this kid enjoy his childhood man."
