Actress-entrepreneur-author Twinkle Khanna is an avid reader and she often shares her book recommendations with her fans and followers. But in a new social media post, Twinkle revealed that she often calls her sister Rinke before she starts reading a book. The reason: the two, Twinkle and Rinke, have similar tastes in books and they often discuss what they are reading.
"I often call my sister before I start a new book. She reads more than me and I suspect faster as well. If she says it's great then I feel reassured. Aside from science-fiction which I love and she can't bear, we tend to read similar books. We also talk about books a lot:)," Twinkle said in the post.
Talking about their sisterly love, she further said, "Writers sometimes write about the things they can’t say to the people around them unless they are gift-wrapped in the form of fiction. We are not demonstrative. My sister and I. Hugs are given gingerly and jibes are our version of kisses. Yet within most of the stories I write, a pair of devoted sisters always stare back at me from a stack of printed pages. My sister along with being the keeper of my secrets is also my book buddy."
Twinkle had also posted a video along with the post, in which she is seen reading the book 'The Twyford Code: A Novel' by Janice Hallett.
