For some parents, choosing a unique baby name that sets their little one apart from the crowd is important, and there's a seemingly endless list of acceptable names you can give your child that are out of the ordinary.
But there are some words you just shouldn't use for a baby name, no matter how trendy they might sound on the surface.
One woman on Reddit has revealed her sister has made a terrible choice when it comes to the moniker she's picked out for her daughter - as although it's definitely unusual, it's also the name of a serious crime.
In her post, the woman explained her 25-year-old sister is set to welcome her first child into the world and recently sat down with her family to tell them what she's decided to call her impending arrival.

And the name she's picked out? Arson.
The woman, from the US, wrote: "My sister is having her first baby, and it’s a girl.
"On Saturday, she and her boyfriend asked my family out to dinner to see them and talk about her baby name. When we got there, we ordered food and then she told us she was planning on naming her daughter Arson.
"There was a long pause and I finally said 'are you being serious?' She got kind of defensive and just said, 'yeah we like the name and it’s unique', I replied with 'that name sucks and you're naming her after a felony crime'.
"She got really angry and she and her boyfriend got up and left.
"Later that night she sent an angry text to my parents saying they were raising me to be an opinionated brat with no respect, and how my parents should have stuck up for her.
"My mum says she’s just really hormonal and that’s why she got so upset but said I should apologise. I tried to call her to apologise but it went straight to voicemail and she isn’t responding to any of my texts."
Commenters on the Reddit post sided with the woman as they stated that while it's usually the choice of the parent to name their child whatever they want to, a line has to be drawn somewhere.
One said: "That's a terrible name. Someone needed to say something."
While another added: "Parents need a reality check when they're about to ruin their kids' life. I would have reacted the same way. Maybe not the nicest way to say it but naming your kid that isn't the nicest either."
But others said Arson is a name of Arabic origin and has a completely different meaning in other cultures.
Someone noted: "Arson means 'An attractive person' and is of Arabic origin. I think it is the typical problem with naming. Words can have different meanings.
"I am not native English or Arabic, but I have definitely encountered the name a few times."
