This My Singing Brainrot beginner’s guide will help you understand the game mechanics and learn how to buy and hatch eggs to get different singing brainrots that earn money for you. Behind this seemingly straightforward gameplay are some complex mechanics, and this My Singing Brainrot guide will help you understand and master those. So, let's get right to it!
How Does My Singing Brainrot Work
If you are a total My Singing Brainrot beginner, this section will help you get started with My Singing Brainrot. As you launch the game and land on your empty plot, follow the steps below to start making some money.
Buy Your First Egg: You'll start the game with $275 in your wallet. Use that money to buy your first egg from the conveyor belt located at the end of your plot.

Place and Hatch the Egg
- After purchasing an egg, head to a clear area, tap the egg, and then place it down.
- Now, wait until the timer runs out.
- Once a red exclamation point appears over the egg, it is ready to hatch.
- To Hatch Brainrot Eggs, wait for the timer to complete, then simply tap on it to see which brainrot you got.
Collect Money and Buy More Eggs
- Collect money by simply walking through your brainrot and purchasing more eggs to increase your signing brainrots to make more money.
- Higher rarity eggs cost more, but they also hatch higher rarity brainrots that earn more money per second.
- All your brainrots sing and earn money even if you're AFK/offline. Every unique brainrot that you place in your land will give a +5% Money Boost. So, the more eggs you hatch, the more money you can make.

Purchase More Land
- You can purchase more land to place and hatch new brainrot eggs using the hammer.
- Land expansions cost from $500 to $10,000,000.
- Start by expanding the front area, as it's more cost-effective.
- Then, once you have enough money, start clearing up the back.
How to Get Rid of a Singing Brainrot

If you don't like a certain singing brainrot or need some quick cash, you can also sell a brainrot.
- Use the hammer to pick up the brainrot that you want to sell and add it to your inventory.
- After that, tap on the Sell Brainrot button at the top of your screen.
- Once you land on the Sell Brainrot shop, a window will open showing all the brainrots in your inventory.
- Tap 'Sell All' or sell individually by tapping the Sell button next to the brainrot.
- You can also gift brainrots to your friends or other players in your lobby.
Global Events To Look Out For
Four global events occur every hour in the game. See the table below for more details:

My Singing Brainrot Luck Boost Guide - Sources, Percentages & Myths

There is a Luck Stat at play in My Singing Brainrot. Understanding this stat and how to boost it will help you maximize your luck and earn money quickly in My Signing Brainrot.
What Does Luck Do in My Singing Brainrot
Luck decides the Rarity (Basic, Rare, Epic) and Type (Common, Gold, Diamond) of eggs that come on the conveyor belt, and it also decides the Size, Rarity, and Type of Singing Brainnrot you'll get by hatching an egg.
On the opposite end of the Sell Brainrot shop, there is an Item shop where you can buy a few items to improve your Singing Brainrot luck.
Boost Brainrot Luck
Here's a list of Brainrot Luck boost items and how they work:
- Cardboard Boombox: Up to 3x increase in Size Luck of your Singing Brainrot.
- Crystal Boombox: Up to 3x increase in Hatch Luck of your Singing Brainrot.
- Dark Matter Boombox: Up to 5x increase in Size and Hatch Luck of your Singing Brainrot.
Buy and place these items near your eggs. Depending on the items you use, you'll get bigger size and higher rarity brainrots when the eggs hatch.
Boost Brainrot Eggs Luck
To improve your conveyer belt Luck, you'll have to pay 79 Robux to buy 50x More Luck and 2x Conveyer Speed. This increases the belt speed and brings out higher rarity eggs for 5 minutes.
Most of the eggs that spawn after using this boost will cost upwards of $50k. So, it is important that you only use this Luck Boost when you have enough money to buy those expensive and higher rarity eggs. Otherwise, you'll end up wasting the luck boost and the Robux.
An important thing to note here is that Luck does not stack in My Singing Brainrot. However, if you use multiple boomboxes simultaneously, it will reach maximum luck faster. If you don't have multiple boomboxes, simply wait until they max out instead of hatching them instantly.
Boomboxes & Other Gamepasses - Worth Your Robux?

You can purchase boomboxes and packs using Robux to speed up your progress in My Singing Brainrot.
There are five different types of Boomboxes that you can buy using in-game cash or Robux. Some of these boomboxes will boost your Luck, and others will generate the Diamond and Golden mutation on your Singing Brainrots.
Below is a cost table for all the Boomboxes available in My Singing Brainrot:
Boombox | Description | Cost |
---|---|---|
Cardboard Boombox | Increases Size Luck | $75k or 49 Robux |
Crystal Boombox | Increases Hatch Luck | $300k or 99 Robux |
Dark Matter Boombox | Increases Size and Hatch Luck | $1M or 199 Robux |
Golden Boombox | Gives Golden mutation to every egg within range. | 149 Robux |
Diamond Boombox | Gives Diamond mutation to every egg within range. | 399 Robux |
You can easily purchase the Luck Boost boomboxes with minimal effort, so spending Robux on them is wasteful.
On the other hand, the mutation boomboxes are well worth the money. You can place up to seven eggs around the boombox, and all of them will mutate, increasing their value by 2x or 3x their original value, depending on the mutation and the size.
Apart from this, multiple packs are available for purchase using Robux. These cost from 10 to 30 Robux, and they actually offer great value for money as you get boomboxes and some Rare and Epic eggs. Purchasing a few of these packs will set you up nicely.
Common Beginner Mistakes to Avoid
Avoid making the following mistakes if you want to make actual progress in My Singing Brainrot:
- Unless it's a Golden or Diamond mutated egg, avoid buying Basic and Rare Eggs. Instead, save money and target Epic and Shard eggs to get high-paying Singing Brainrots.
- To get the giant Singing Brainrots, you actually need the space for them. Therefore, ensure you expand by purchasing new land. Start with the cheaper options.
- Don't hatch before the boomboxes max out the Size/Hatch Luck. Boomboxes max out at 3 to 5 times the luck boost. Even if the egg is ready to hatch, wait and let it hatch 5 times (3 times if you're using Cardboard/Crystal Boombox).
- Avoid the Cardboard and Crystal Boomboxes and buy the Dark Matter Boombox. It costs $1,000,000 (pretty easy to make), boosts both Size and Hatch luck, and lasts for 30 minutes. A much better deal than the other two.
