A mum who lives with her children, her partner and his children in a "blended" household has divided opinion after sharing how they live on two separate sides of the same house.
Shelley, who posts about her family life on TikTok, has gone viral after offering a glimpse into her family home - which looks normal enough from the outside.
But when you walk in the front door, the structure of the house is different to any other - with two separate sides for each half of the family.
The two suites are virtually identical which might seem odd to some, but Shelley says there's method to the madness.
She argues that, for her blended family of seven, the set up is perfect and allows them to live "separately but together."

In the video, which has racked up more than 3 million views, she showcases both sides of her divided home, which is kitted out with separate kitchens and bathrooms.
She explains: "My partner and I have five kids between us so we own a home that has two suites. We live separately, together. Blended, unblended."
Shelley lives on one side of the house with her two kids, while her partner and his three children occupy the other side.
“I'd love to find other families that live like this… I think it’s amazing - would you live like this?” she said.
In another video, Shelley gives a more in-depth look into her side of the house, which is stunningly decorated and even has a walk-in wardrobe.
She wrote: “Self-care is leaving my space exceptionally clean for my future self when I get back from a trip.”
For the most part, people were pretty impressed by Shelley's set up with her partner.
One person said: "Let’s normalise doing whatever makes people happy and is best for the kids."

Others joked they'd like to implement a similar regime - but with the kids in one half and the adults in another.
Some people praised Shelley for not forcing the step-siblings to be close just because the parents are together, and instead letting them each have their own space.
However, others questioned why Shelley would want to "separate her life" from her partner - suggesting it's a pretty expensive way of living.
Some people who commented on the post said they actually lived in a similar way, but for different reasons.
