Every wedding is different, and every bride and groom will have their own set of rules for the event. However, when it comes to dress codes most couple have some expectation of what they could want people to wear – and not wear.
One rule that is quite common at weddings is that only the bride wears a white dress.
However, one bride was left very upset after someone decided to disregard this unwritten rule and wear a white dress to her big day. Her 16-year-old niece had worn a white, lace dress.
In fact, the 30-year-old was so upset she decided to have the girl's dress photoshopped in all the pictures.

Taking to popular forum Reddit, the anonymous woman explained: "It was a white, lacy knee length dress. She even wore lace elbow length gloves!
"Honestly, it looked just like a wedding dress. I didn't say anything to her or her parents ([my] brother and [sister-in-law]) in the moment, and I tried my best to ignore it. But when I got the first drafts back from our photographer, I couldn't stand when I saw her in her white dress standing next to me.
"My husband saw how upset I was, and suggested that we pay extra to get my niece's dress photoshopped to a light blue. We thought it through, and since we had some budget left, we went for it."
The bride was very happy when she got the final photos back and thought they looked great. She said she "couldn't even tell" that her niece was actually wearing white.
However, after spotting the pictures on social media, her sister-in-law became very angry that she had photoshopped his daughter without checking with her first.
In the post, she continued: "She accused me of thinking my niece was ugly and of body shaming her. To be clear, I did not have her body photoshopped, only the colour of her dress and gloves."
The newlywed was supported by fellow forum users, who blamed the sister-in-law for letting her daughter wear white to a wedding.
One person said: "If she didn't want the dress to be photoshopped, she shouldn't have let her daughter attend a wedding in a lacy white dress! The nerve of that woman!"
Another shared: "Yeah, SIL [sister-in-law] was behind this stunt. It's entirely possible the niece didn't realise wearing white to a wedding is an absolute no-no, and the fact SIL didn't ask her to change says everything."
