Neighbours can be a source of friendship and assistance, or they can be a real nightmare for some, seemingly doing things that always make their life more difficult.
One person has claimed that she and her husband have always had a good relationship with the other couple that lives in their duplex, but recently things have started to sour - and it's all over bins.
The unnamed woman explained that they rent their home and there are strict rules about rubbish disposal outside the building.
She claims that the two houses in the duplex are allowed one bin of rubbish each and that bin men won't accept or collect any extra trash that is left out on the street.
This hadn't been an issue until their neighbours had twins and suddenly started producing a lot more rubbish.

She soon noticed that the new parents have since started filling up not only their own bin, but her one as well meaning she and her husband have nowhere to put their own rubbish.
And to make matters worse, the parents are filling the bin with dirty nappies.
Appearing on Slate.com's Dear Prudence live chat, she shared her dilemma, asking for advice on how to handle the situation.

"I first noticed them putting their overflow into our recycling bin, mostly boxes from baby furniture, which was a one-time disposal situation. I didn't really mind. But now their garbage bags are ending up in my bins, and there's no room for my own!
"I spoke to the husband, who said they'e generating more trash with the babies, and claims it's really more of an issue to bring up with the town, and he has to be able to dispose of diapers. He seemed to be hinting that my husband and I could skip a week of trash removal because we don’t have diapers in the house. (What?!)"
The woman added that she doesn't want to involve the landlord, but she really wanted to keep the neighbours out of her bin.
The agony aunt Prudence sympathised with the parents for feeling overwhelmed after having twins, but did state that their lack of space for rubbish was not the woman's problem.
They went on to say that there might be some kind of loophole and she could speak to her local government about it, but if she wasn't feeling generous enough to do that then she could simply remove their rubbish from her bin and leave it on the side with an apologetic note explaining there wasn't enough room in her bin for her own rubbish.
