A woman who was tired of her neighbours parking their cars in front of her driveway has taken action to have their cars towed away - and has made them furious in the process.
Explaining her story on Reddit, the woman said her next-door neighbours are a large family with five to six cars between them, and they often leave their vehicles parked directly across her driveway, meaning she is unable to get her own car out and onto the road when he needs to.
After asking them to move their cars to no avail, the woman wrote a strongly worded letter to the family's landlord, and eventually, they listened - but instead began parking their cars in front of people's garages and in the access road that runs between the houses.
In her post, she said: "I live in a really cramped development that has an access road between two rows of homes. The road runs behind one set of homes and in front of another set. I live in the back row of homes.

"There is a very large family that lives next door to me and they have 5-6 cars. They used to park directly behind my driveway so my fiancé and I couldn’t even get out of the driveway. They also used to park so nobody could use the road, and finally, they parked in front of people's garages so they couldn’t enter them.
"I went to their home and knocked on the door several times asking them to not park directly behind us, or anyone for that matter. They didn’t listen. I wrote an email to the owner of the home telling her to ask her tenants to park appropriately, and at one point I even got in an altercation with one of them because we were trying to leave and they wouldn’t move.
"It did get better for a while, they stopped parking behind us, and they also stopped parking all 6 of their cars on the access road."
Recently, the family had a party and once again blocked the road, and since then they've continued to park in inconvenient places - leading to the woman taking action and calling a tow truck.
She added: "They had a party a few weeks ago and blocked the road. Again I emailed the owner and left a note with them basically saying, next time they will be towed.
"For about two weeks now they have been parking one of their cars and blocking two garages. Not entirely blocking, but enough so that the people that use those garages can’t park in their garage and it basically shuts the road down with a snowball effect.
"So this morning they were parked there again and I finally called the tow truck. I could hear and see them very frustrated as they had somewhere to go, but I feel like I have warned them so many times that it’s justified at this point.
"I’d prefer nobody get towed ever, but they don’t seem to care about being neighbourly."
Commenters on the Reddit post were in support of the woman's actions, with many of them saying she waited much longer before taking action than they would have in her position.
One person said: "I would have had them towed the first time I couldn’t leave or access my property."
While another added: "If they are blocking driveways and other homes' garages, sucks to be them. They were given multiple opportunities to stop."
And a third wrote: "They had been told over and over not to park there. I guess it will take a major inconvenience and money to get their attention."
