Neighbours can be one of the most gruelling parts of owning a home, so people may often choose to maintain good relationships with those living so close. However, this isn't the case for all individuals.
One brave women doesn't seem to care what her neighbours think of her after she went ahead by erecting a 100-foot fence around her home - all for her dog. It comes after Cindy Copley’s beloved pooch Murphy lost his eyesight. She believed the best option to keep the Cocker Spaniel safe was to build a 3ft-tall fence to keep him protected from the road.
According to 66-year-old Cindy, from Ludgershall, Wiltshire, the back garden is too small, so it was a better option to fence off the front garden.

However, the safety measure for her four-legged friend has left her surrounding neighbours fuming - with some claiming that it ruins the street.
"It's the ugliest fence in the world, what does she even think she’s doing," one neighbour had said.
"It has upset a few people down this road. I'm furious."
Meanwhile, another wrote: "You can't just put up a big ugly fence on a whim, it should to be done properly through the council and by asking everybody in the street."
However, former NHS worker Cindy doesn't understand the complaints that have arisen by the neighbours.
She told the Sun: "It's just a fence, I can't see what the problem is? It's pathetic.
"I can't get my head round it, it's to keep Murphy safe from the main road.
"If I knew this was going to cause this much hassle I wouldn't have put it up."
Cindy's daughter Kate claims that her parents have suffered 'stress and anxiety' over the fallout from the fence.
She says that the retired duo were simply seeking a safe haven for their blind doggo and were unaware of the problems which would be caused.
Thankfully, however, not all feedback has been hard after raking in support from other names - who have said it's 'nothing but a decent fence'.
