A man has expressed his outrage at his neighbour after she allowed her kid into his garden to play on his swing bench - without asking permission first.
In a post on Reddit, the man explained the swing was already in place in his front garden when he moved into the house just over a year ago, but he decided to refurbish it himself since the swing section was a little unstable.
At the time of refurbishing the swing, the man's girlfriend told him that a lady who lives nearby had been bringing her kid over to allow him to play on the swing - even though she'd never asked permission to do so.
And when the man finally caught the woman and her kid in the act, he told them explicitly that they do not have permission to use his property, which left the mum fuming.

In his post, he explained: "A little over a year ago, I bought a house. In the front yard, there was a swing bench. It was a rubbish swing too, the seat was made out of pallets, but the structure was fine.
"So I built a new bench to swing on and enjoy. According to my girlfriend, some lady that lives around us has been letting her kid come through our yard and play on the swing. I never saw the lady or kid and just brushed it off.
"Until today. We went out to eat and when we came home, she was standing in our yard watching her kid play on our swing. When we pulled into the driveway, she scooped up her kid and started walking off.
"When I got out of the car, she yelled at me, 'I hope it's ok I let her play on your swing'. I told her no, I was not ok with it, and that she should refrain from coming onto my property again.
"She started arguing with me that if I didn't want her kid on the swing, then I should have said something sooner, and maybe I shouldn't have it in my yard if I don't want others on it."
The bloke insisted he's never met the woman before, so having her suddenly turn up in his garden with her child was bizarre.
And in retaliation, he told her to "set a better example" for her little one by staying away from things that don't belong to her.
He added: "Mind you, I've never even met this lady the entire time we've lived here. I kind of lost it with her and told her that she needs to take her entitled a** back to her house and learn not to touch things that don't belong to her, and set a better example for her kid.
"Having her kid play on my swing is a liability for me, especially if something were to happen and the swing was to break and/or anything else that could happen to her on my property. She just said 'whatever' and took her kid and walked off.
"My girlfriend told me I should have handled that better and that I sound like the stereotypical old man telling kids to get off his lawn."
Commenters on the Reddit post were firmly on the man's side, with many of them stating the woman must have known she was wrong - as she swiftly left his garden when he came home.
One person said: "She knew she was wrong. That’s why she left when she was caught."
While another added: "Why would some strange woman be allowed on your property? If she wants her kid to swing that bad she should go buy one for her yard. She knew she was in the wrong or she wouldn’t have started walking away when you pulled up."
