Noisy neighbours are a nuisance at the best of the times, but one resident is facing a situation worse than most as their neighbour could get them fired.
The disgruntled resident works from home, like many of us have been doing since the pandemic struck. But for reasons unknown, their neighbour has taken to slamming doors and banging metal objects in the room below.
As the worker is employed by a call centre, the noise is proving troublesome. After all, they cannot 'just sit around not making calls', as the resident explained online.
Posting a rant to Reddit's 'neighboursfromhell', forum, the worker complained about their neighbour's behaviour.

"The neighbor [sic] has taken up a habit to go into the room below me and start banging metal things as well as slamming the door as loud as possible to the point the walls shake," they wrote.
Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like they have had much success reasoning with the neighbour.
"Every time I see him he acts like I'm not even there and ignores me when I wave hi to him," the post continued. "Although I am applying to other jobs I haven't gotten anything different yet and the situation is stressing me out since the excessive noise can get me into trouble."
Thankfully, commenters were quick to share advice to help the home worker.
"Record it and complain. If that doesn't work start making 'loud' living noises," wrote one person.
A second said "add a rug and padding under the desk" while another suggested using a white noise machine.
However, other commenters questioned how much noise the worker makes.
"I am assuming you're the [neighbour from hell] for them and they can hear all your calls. i would personally find that annoying too," read one reply.
A different response said: "If they can hear your calls all day, sorry, but you're the nfh here. You need to do what you can about soundproofing."
