'My name is Cleo' Moment kidnapped tot Cleo Smith is found by cops

The moment missing girl Cleo Smith was found by police has been released in an audio clip.

Officers from the Western Australia Police Force found the four-year-old after carrying out a raid on a house in Carnarvon, Australia on November 3.

It came after an intense two-week search for the youngster, who vanished from a campsite on October 16, as reported by The Mirror.

Cops released an audio clip via social media of the moment little Cleo was rescued from a property.

In the clip, an officer is heard to repeatedly say 'we've got her' before another person asks 'what's your name?' and 'what's your name, sweetheart?'

A child's voice can then be heard to reply 'my name is Cleo.'

Others then say 'you're alright, bubby' and 'hello Cleo.'

There was also an emotional reaction to the clip via social media with many commentators in floods of tears.

One person said: "I'm not crying!.. You're crying! Thank you very much Western Australia Police. God bless you all."

Another wrote: "So bloody awesome guys. Thank you very much."

A third said: "Tears welling up. Well done to all."

The rescue followed a frantic search for the child who had gone missing some 18 days earlier.

Pictures have also emerged of delighted mum Ellie cradling her little girl, who was holding a pink balloon.

A man has since been arrested and charged after the rescue effort that saw the little girl found safe and well.

Western Australian Deputy Police Commissioner Col Blanch went on to say that he believed Cleo and her family slept in the same room and "cuddled all night" after she made it back home to them.

He told 2GB: "Ellie and Jake had been through 18 days of hell and I know Australia have felt that with them.

"They had a small amount of hope, but I thought they probably thought they were never going to give her a cuddle again.

"I’m pretty sure they all slept in the same room just cuddling all night."

Detectives earlier announced that the toddler had been found alive nearly three weeks after she mysteriously disappeared.

A man, who was not at home at the time, was subsequently taken in for questioning.

Cleo first went missing from the Blowholes Shacks site in Carnarvon, north of Perth, on October 16.
