Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi could make his debut for the France senior side later this month after being called up to the squad by Didier Deschamps.
The Arsenal star has been called up to the France squad for the upcoming fixtures against Moldova and Albania, after Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi was forced to withdraw through injury.
As a result, the 20-year-old could now make his senior bow for France, having stepped up from the U21 squad.
This is the second time that Guendouzi, who has 11 caps at U21 level for France, has been called up to the senior squad as an injury replacement, having also been called up earlier this season when Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba was forced to withdraw through injury.
Guendouzi has not yet made his debut at senior level though.
France could seal qualification for the European Championships next summer with victory against Moldova, with a second qualifier against Albania to follow.
And Guendouzi will now be hoping to impress France boss Didier Deschamps in training to get his first chance with Les Bleus, having shone at times for Arsenal in an up and down season so far for the Gunners.
His call-up has got some Arsenal fans talking today (Monday) and here's what some of them have been saying on social media.
