'My manager!' - Tottenham fans delighted with what Antonio Conte has done ahead of Vitesse clash

Antonio Conte takes charge of his first Tottenham Hotspur match against Dutch side Vitesse in the UEFA Europa Conference League tonight.

Conte was announced as Spurs' new head coach on Tuesday morning, replacing Nuno Espirito Santo, who was relieved of his duties just four months after being appointed.

Espirito Santo lost five of his ten Premier League matches with the north London club before footballing director Fabio Paratici lost his patience and decided to sack the former Wolves boss, with a 3-0 loss to Manchester United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium leaving the club sitting ninth in the current Premier League standings.

Spurs fans will hope that Conte can enjoy a more successful time than his predecessor and the Italian has certainly proven that he knows how to win trophies, clinching the league title at each of his last three clubs.

Now, the former Inter Milan head coach has named his starting line-up for the clash against Vitesse, with club-captain Hugo Lloris joined by the likes of Harry Kane, Son-Heung Min and Cristian Romero in a strong XI.

The Lillywhites are in desperate need of a win tonight considering they sit third in their group, behind both their opponents and French side Rennes, who are currently top of the pile.

Tottenham supporters took to social media to voice their thoughts on Conte's team selection, with a number of fans unable to hold their excitement at the strong lineup. Here is how a select few reacted on Twitter.
