My Heart and Other Black Holes is a poignant and heart-wrenching story that is sure to suck anyone who picks it up into its literal black hole. I could not put this book down once I started reading it, and I utterly adored every second of it.
The plot revolves around Aysel, a suicidal teenager, and her 'Suicide buddy" Roman. It is full of ups and downs, and will make you laugh and cry on alternate pages (sometimes even on the same one!). Aysel and Roman meet via a suicide messaging forum, and agree to jump off a cliff. Aysel and Roman both have their own reasons to commit suicide, and those reasons were heart-wrenchingly sad.
The only bad thing about this book was the cover, which I didn't especially like, however this is a great book and i would recommend it to anyone aged 12 or over.
