A woman was left baffled by her best friend's reaction after she missed her wedding - even though it was because she was in a car accident on the day.
She was due to be her best friend's maid of honour and was crucial to all the planning of the wedding.
However, when it came to the big day the woman nipped back to the house to pick up a bag she had forgotten and on her way to the ceremony she was hit by another car and ended up in hospital.
Having missed the whole event, she apologised to her friend but she was far from sympathetic about what happened.

In a Reddit post, the woman, who remained anonymous, explained: "With 15 minutes before the ceremony started I went back to the house to grab my bag, called my best friend to get anything else she may have forgotten.
"I was driving back to the ceremony when a car attempted to run a red light, turned left in front of me and caused the worst major car accident I've ever had."
The woman was forced to kick her way out of the car before being rushed to hospital after losing her hearing - so missed the big day as she underwent medical tests.
"I was devastated and I apologised to her over text messages for overshadowing her day," she said.
"Best friend came to the house the night before we all departed to say goodbye and seemed very annoyed with me. She was short and brief before leaving and I felt ill over our encounter, but dismissed it and went to bed."
Since the incident, the newlywed has barely spoken to the woman to check on her and has not even texted her. Now, the woman is considering parting ways from this friend for good.
In response, many people have sided with the woman and said her friend has been acting unreasonably.
One person wrote: "It sounds like you really supported your friend. It's too bad she hasn't been there for you maybe write her a letter detailing all of this and your disappointment."
While another stated: "She completely neglected you when you needed help, not even checking up on you? That's cruel. Selfish."
A third penned: "That's so hurtful after you helped so much, to ignore you after a huge car accident?"
