Everyone gets into little tiffs with housemates, particularly when they forget to clean up after themselves in the kitchen or are slow to pay up on certain bills.
Living with a difficult flatmate can make the house atmosphere pretty tense as there is a lot of resentment brewing. You just want them to be a good person to live with but feel they are not living up to their end of the bargain.
One woman has caused a heated spat as she borrowed her housemate's car to get to work, only to crash it on the way - causing serious damage to the motor.
Her seething flatmate took to Reddit and said: "Roommate crashed my car while borrowing it to go to work." The anonymous tenant then shared a picture of their smashed up car which they've been left to deal with.

However, that wasn't the end of the saga as the Reddit poster explained that their housemate still feels entitled to use their vehicle when they need it - despite refusing to help with repair costs.
"[She] refuses to pay anything unless I let her continue to drive it in the future," the car owner wrote.
In the comments, many people could not believe that the housemate refused to pay up for the damages and criticised her insistence on using the car after wrecking it.
One person wrote: "People with no sense of responsibility. I crashed a borrowed car. Offered to and paid in full. Never borrowed one since."
While somebody else noted: "The level of entitlement is reaching the level where their roommate sues them for getting whiplash in an accident they, themselves, caused."
A third penned: "Lawyer time or at least small claims court."
Another person added to the discussion: "That's what I'd be doing, small claims doesn't require a lawyer all you need is proof she was driving and the bill for damages."
