We were supposed to be the first band on the Other stage opening the festival yesterday but we got cancelled. We arrived to thunder and lightning - it was monsoon weather, so we had to give it a miss. But since then, things have been looking up. Apart from the mudbath we've had a pretty good time. We just put the wellies on and just got on with it really.
We did an accoustic set in the Guardian Lounge, so that made up for not playing. We saw Echo and the Bunnymen yesterday. They were great - it's kind of a Liverpool thing! They basically did a greatest hits set, with one new song. And we watched the Zutons yesterday, and we're going to go and see Kasabian later tonight. We've got to carry on our tour in Northampton tomorrow, so these are our two days in Glastonbury.
This is first time at Glastonbury, for both of us, but because of weather we haven't really made it out of the main stages area. But we want to go to the stone circle and the teepee field. We need a bit of chanting. We need to get a bit more primal. Maybe that'll happen later on tonight ...
