Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has admitted that it is his "dream" to play in the Premier League amid Manchester United's interest in his signature.
The Nigeria international, who joined the Italian club back in July 2020, is just one of the names that United are considering as an option to strengthen their frontline ahead of next season. The Reds, as revealed by the Manchester Evening News last week, are planning to make two significant signings this coming summer and the addition of a striker is their top priority.
Osimhen, 24, is one of the most in-demand strikers in Europe after a stellar period in front of goal in Naples. He has scored 21 goals in just 26 appearances this season, as well as registering four assists. He also netted an impressive 18 goals in 32 matches last term.

Napoli currently find themselves top of the Serie A table, a whopping 15 points clear of Inter Milan in second, meaning they will be confident of retaining Osimhen's services this summer. Last month, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis warned that it would take a big offer for them to consider letting go of the striker.
However, Osimhen, although he has frequently stressed that he is currently happy in Italy, has confirmed that he has ambitions of playing in the Premier League, offering hope to those interested in his services that he could push for a move this forthcoming summer.
"I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world (Serie A) is an amazing feeling for me," said Osimhen, as quoted by The Athletic. "A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I'm in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A.
"I'm working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League some day but, like I said, it's a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well."
The Nigerian, who does not turn 25 until December, is the leading marksman in Serie A so far this term, scoring 19 goals. He has netted a very impressive 10 goals in his last nine games, with Friday's shock 1-0 defeat to Lazio marking the end of his run of scoring in eight consecutive league matches.
