My Dad Wrote a Porno is coming to Bristol Hippodrome

The Bristol Hippodrome is set to join the likes of The Sydney Opera House in hosting the stage adaptation of world-renowned podcast ‘My Dad Wrote a Porno.’

Described as a ‘cultural phenomenon’, The Hippodrome will welcome the comedy of Jamie Morton, James Cooper and Alice Levine on October 25 2020 as part of the trio's 34-date world tour.

When fate led Morton to a manuscript of his father’s unpublished porn saga, the three friends began discussing the novel with hilarious results.

Episodes of the podcast have been downloaded more than 180 million times.

Fans of the podcast are said to include the likes of Hollywood legends, Dame Emma Thompson and Elijah Wood.

Other UK dates on the colossal world tour include Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.

Can’t wait until 2020? The award-winning podcast will enter its fifth season on Monday 9 September 2019.
