Tottenham Hotspur are moving closer to signing Tanguy Ndombele and some Arsenal fans are furious.
The Gunners are yet to make a major signing this summer after they failed to secure Champions League football last season and with a reported £45m transfer budget it remains to be seen how much business they get done before deadline day.
Even if they were interested in the Lyon midfielder, his £60m+ price-tag means he was already out of reach.
Widespread reports claim a deal taking the France international to north London is done and all that remains is official confirmation from Spurs.
On social media, supporters aren't too happy with Spurs making a breakthrough over such a highly-rated player as Ndombele while the club struggles to reach an agreement with Celtic and Crystal Palace for Kieran Tierney and Wilfried Zaha respectively.
