My Chemical Romance have announced two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium for next summer.
The US emo rock group haven’t performed in the UK since their dates in Milton Keynes and Warrington during their 2022 reunion tour.
The band will be performing in London on July 10 and July 11, 2026 as part of their Long Live The Black Parade Tour. The rockers revealed the news on their Instagram Story, with tickets going on sale at 10am on Friday, August 15.
Wembley Stadium’s social media accounts teased the shows hours earlier on Sunday night by sharing a photo of the famous arch lit up with the group’s imagery.
The I’m Not Okay (I Promise) hitmakers – featuring founding members Gerard Way, Mikey Way, Frank Iero and Ray Toro – kicked off their sold-out tour in North America this year.
MCR recently released an expanded edition of their three-time platinum sophomore album, Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. It comes nearly 21 years after its original release.
To commemorate the band's critically acclaimed 2004 album, GRAMMY-winning producer Rich Costey created new mixes for the Deluxe Edition.
The collection includes four bonus tracks recorded for the BBC in 2005: previously unreleased live versions of I'm Not Okay (I Promise), Helena and The Ghost Of You.
It also has a live version of You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison, originally released as the B-side of the limited-edition UK CD single of I'm Not Okay (I Promise).
MCR released four studio albums and a string of platinum-selling songs between 2003 and 2010.
They broke up in 2013 but reunited for a one-off special show in 2019.
The band announced a world tour in 2020, which was postponed until 2022 due to the Covid pandemic and concluded in 2023.
The band also released their first song in eight years, The Foundations of Decay, at the time.

Last November, MCR’s longest serving drummer Bob Bryar was found dead aged 44 at his home and the group only played two shows that year.
Bryar was discovered by emergency services at his Tennessee home. There were no signs of foul play and his dogs were rescued from the property.
He joined the band in 2004, replacing founding drummer Matt Pelissier after the release of their second album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
He became a full-fledged member, playing on tours and contributing to their 2006 album The Black Parade, which catapulted the band to global fame.
Bryar also drummed on the band’s 2010 album Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys but left before their disbandment in 2013.
The emo band has not had a full-time drummer since.
