'My brother needs to be found' pleads family of missing Edinburgh patient spotted on Fife CCTV

The sister of a young man who went missing from an Edinburgh hospital has appealed for help after he was captured on CCTV.

Joshua Jamieson is missing from the Morningside area and was last seen by hospital staff at around 10:25pm on Saturday (7 November).

Police have said he is "vulnerable" and are trying to track him down amid growing concerns for his welfare.

His sister has appealed to people to get in touch with police if they see Josh, writing "my brother needs to be found asap".

Another family member has also now shared CCTV images of Josh after he was spotted in Glenrothes in the early hours of Sunday morning trying to get a room at a hotel.

She said: "My nephew Josh has been spotted in the Glenrothes area early hours of this morning which is promising.

"Tried to get a room at the Premier Inn Hotel at Bankhead roundabout but was turned away because he only had cash, they only accept card,  which is ridiculous shouldn't matter what payment was then spotted at McDonald's Bankhead about 6.45am.
