A woman is disappointed with her fiancé's mundane proposal. He popped the question while the pair were sat on the sofa watching TV.
After an episode of their favourite show had ended, he pulled the ring box out of his pocket and asked her to marry him - but she was hoping for a bit more.
She wasn't looking for a big flashy proposal, but thought something a bit more romantic and heartfelt would have been an improvement.
When she voiced her disappointment to him, he admitted it wasn't his best gesture and assured her he would make it up to her.

Taking to Reddit, the woman, who remained anonymous, explained: "Last night my boyfriend proposed to me. But I'm disappointed and bummed out. We were watching our show on a random Tuesday, just sitting on the sofa.
"After our show he pulls out the box and asks me to marry him. I know he was excited and I love him very much but nothing about it felt special. He said it 'felt like us', but I don't want that to be us. That our special moments in life are just another mundane thing during our normal day to day.
"I didn't want a big proposal or in front of anyone, but something with a little bit more effort and care would have made a huge difference."
She added she has no doubts about her relationship with him, so will probably move on from these feelings.
"I feel very superficial and like a terrible partner because I know he is so excited," she said.
She later spoke to her partner about her feelings and he admitted it wasn't his most thought out gesture and assured her he would make it up to her.
In response, many offered their advice to the woman and suggested they should do something big to celebrate the engagement.
One person wrote: "I would suggest that you do something really special to celebrate the proposal. Go all out, go on a special date, get dressed up and celebrate your future together."
While another stated: "The proposal has happened, doesn't mean celebrations can't [sic] be over! Fancy night out together, include friends (or don't), throw a party. Still time to celebrate!"
