A woman has been left fuming with her partner as he always makes her pay for things, including a recent hospital trip for his injured ankle. The woman took to Reddit to explain that the engaged pair have been together for three years and have equally paying jobs which makes splitting finances easier for them.
The 26-year-old woman, who remained anonymous, explained: "He doesn't pay when we eat out, he doesn't pay for any fixes in our rental apartment, and also doesn't help with furniture and stuff.
"I tried to have conversations about how I'm always supposed to foot the bill for almost everything. His excuse is that he's been saving for a new apartment (been saving up for 2 years now)."

She went on to state that the money he leaves out of savings he is happy to spend on himself and will often buy gadgets and video games but does not spend the money on his girlfriend.
But a recent incident has left the woman even more furious with him.
She said: "Days ago, he called me and asked that I take him to the hospital to treat his ankle. It's been hurting him for weeks but only now he decided to get it checked.
"I drove him there since he was in pain, but was surprised when he told me to pay the bill. I asked why not him and he brought up the new apartment he's been saving for again."
The woman was less than impressed with this request and lost her temper with him.
She continued: "I had it, especially after he threatened to not add my name to the new apartment's title if I refuse to help him out.
"I snapped and told him to pay for himself and stop using my money with the apartment excuse then I left."
The boyfriend was furious with her reaction and said she let him down.
However, many Redditors have been quick to comment in support of the girlfriend.
One person wrote: "You are being used. 100% when he has enough money for the apartment, he dumps you. Stop footing the bill. Leave him."
While another said: "He is just using you and your money and probably plans to dump you once he buys the "apartment”."
