The Muslim World League (MWL) has lauded the huge and successive efforts made by the Saudi government in serving pilgrims without any discrimination.

In a statement issued by its secretariat in Mekkah on Thursday, the League lauded the success of Saudi authorities in completing the required arrangements to receive 18,000 Syrian pilgrims this year and catering to all their medical needs.

MWL condemned false claims that Saudi Arabia is banning Syrians from performing Hajj and Umrah.

The Kingdom receives annually millions of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors from different sects, races and nationalities, and has never discriminated against them, the statement added.
