Musselburgh tattooists donate all disinfectant and gloves to local NHS workers

A tattoo studio in East Lothian is looking to donate all of their gloves, cleaning products and disinfectants to local NHS workers.

Tattoo studios and the artists that work within them are required to follow incredibly strict cleaning and sterilisation procedures in order to keep their clients safe.

After closing their doors due to the UK's latest batch of strict lockdown measures as part of the fight on coronavirus, Rock'n'Roll Tattoo and Piercing in Musselburgh found themselves with a surplus of supplies.

In a post on Facebook the studio wrote:

"Since our studio is temporarily closed, we have suitable stock of gloves, disinfectants and other cleaning equipment we wish to donate to the NHS.

We appreciate the continued efforts made by the NHS and we would like to help in any way possible at this time.

If there is anyone here that works for the health service and can help organise this, please send us an email to office@rocknroll-tattoos.com with their name and contact number."

Other studios have been urged to follow suit.
