Musicians from 7 countries get together to create folk-metal bagpipe cover of the Final Countdown

A group of musicians from seven different countries have come together to create a bagpipe-metal version of the Final Countdown.

Hugely popular piper Archy J – aka The Snake Charmer from India, has teamed up with fellow pipers from two folk-metal bands to create a unique take on the 1986 Europe hit.

The resulting clip sees Archy pipe alongside Scotland's own Jane Espie and her band Celtica Nova, as well as Argentinian band Skiltron.

The seven musicians create a version of the hit you're unlike anything you'll have heard before.

The socially distanced cover has had over 56,000 views on Youtube and over 18,000 likes on Facebook.

The clip follows the Keith Highlanders from Seattle, who created a similar cover of Simon and Garfunkel's Sound of the Silence in July.
