Musician Liam Gallagher badly hurt after 'falling out of helicopter'

Liam Gallagher has been left with facial injuries after claiming to have fallen out of a helicopter.

The former Oasis frontman took to Twitter to show fans his bruises after the fall that happened on Friday night.

Gallagher tweeted: "So check this out I fell out the helicopter last night you couldn’t rite it all good who said RnR is dead Keith moon eat your drum skin out C’mon you know LG x."

The Manchester singer showed off a huge plaster right down his nose as well as a number of other cuts.

He added in a follow up tweet: "What doesn’t kill ya makes ya TUFF GONG."

The second tweet was accompanied by a bottle of beer.

It comes as Noel Gallagher paid brother Liam a rare compliment in their new Oasis film about the Knebworth gigs 25 years ago – saying much of their success was down to his singing and good looks.

The pair have been at war since Noel left the band in 2009 but speaking about the concerts, Noel says: “I guess it’s no coincidence that as that is the band at its peak, it is because the singer is at his peak.

"You are only as good as your frontline. Any band.

“And if that is Oasis at its peak, which it is, it is because Liam is at its peak.

"Liam is at his zenith with his voice and the way that he looks.”
