Music Weekly is on the road this week – quite literally, coming to you from a step somewhere in Austin, Texas, where Tim Jonze and Rebecca Nicholson are jetlagging their way around the SXSW festival.
As well as picking out their highlights, from Big Star to Asap Rocky, Tim and Rebecca have been buttonholing some of the artists. Caroline from Chairflift falls off the vegetarian wagon and talks about the joys of BBQ; Michael Kiwanuka reports on his first festival and wanting to buy a cowboy shirt; and Crispin Parry, of British Underground, recalls his many years at SXSW and how he ended up singing for the Polyphonic Spree.
