Music Weekly: Crystal Fighters and the Wipers

We kick things off this week with a look at Spanish pop through the eyes of Basque-influenced electro-folk band Crystal Fighters. The band's singer Sebastian joined Rosie in the studio to discuss how an unfinished opera gave the group not only their name but also inspiration for their album, Star of Love. Sebastian is on hand to introduce a special mixtape of 1980s Spanish pop (you can check out the track listing here).

In Singles Club, Alexis and Rosie are joined by Michael Hann to discuss the likes of Warpaint's Undertow, the Vaccines' Wrecking Bar (Ra Ra Ra) and James Blake's cover of Feist's Limit To Your Love.

Elsewhere, the Feature With No Name returns! This week Michael talks us through Portland's precursor to grunge, 1970s band the Wipers.

Let us know your throughts on this week's show in the space below. And if you want more attention from us, then do follow us on Twitter or friend us on Facebook. Until next week, happy listening.
