Its no doubt a dream for any Glasgow band or musician - alongside those from across the country - to be inducted into the Barrowlands' Hall Of Fame.
And as the first unsigned act to headline the venue, our very own Gerry Cinnamon joined the likes of David Bowie, Iggy Pop and Richard Ashcroft in receiving the award back in December of 2017.
That being said, it looks like the singer/songwriter has now went one better, in finding a place in Glasgow's very own alternative music 'hall of fame' - on the other side of the world in Japan.
As we reported back in June, a Glasgow-themed restaurant and bar has opened in the city of Osaka in celebration of all the great music that has come out of the city over the years - with its walls adorned by the records by the likes of The Jesus and Mary Chain and Teenage Fanclub.
And now, thanks to music producer and audio engineer Chris Marshall, a signed copy of Gerry Cinammon's record Erratic Cinematic now has pride of place on the wall at Glasgow Shokudou.
Marshall works out of 7 West Studios in Glasgow city centre and has produced Gerry Cinnamon's debut album alongside bands such as Baby Strange, The Dunts and Rascalton.
And Glasgow Shokudou shared some images of the producer's visit alongside that of Gerry Cinammon's record in a frame on the wall alongside that of another of the city's most-loved musical exports in the form of 'The Boy With The Arab Strap' by Belle and Sebastian.
