Music festival makes history with largest drag show ever

• A music festival in Calgary has made history, securing a Guinness World Record for the largest ever attendance at a drag artist stage show.
• Cowboys Music Festivals’ drag artist stage show, ‘Drag Me to Cowboys’, attracted a whopping 7,423 attendees on July 11, according to Guinness World Records (GWR).
• The likes of Sasha Colby, Nearah Nuff, Roxxy Andrews and RuPaul all made appearances at the record-breaking show.
• The company told GWR: “Our goal with this record is to make this a title worth fighting for in the future, by expanding the size and impact of drag performances worldwide and showing how active the community is.”
• GWR has said that attendees are able to purchase their own “customisable Record Participant Certificate” to further celebrate – and remember – the occasion.
