Music fans dance in the street after Lewis Capaldi's sold out Hydro gig

Lewis Capaldi fans kept the party going long after the doors closed on the singer's sold-out performance at the SSE Hydro on Friday.

Gig-goers took to the streets outside the venue on Finnieston Street to dance along to a remix of Someone You Loved, with a little help from a street DJ.

Lewis performed at two sold out shows at the Hydro - his first UK arena gigs - on Thursday and Friday last week and it looks like the gigs were a huge success, judging from how bouncing this post-show crowd is.

The singer/songwriter offered his fans a heartfelt thank you on social media after the second gig, pointing out his stratospheric rise in just a few years.

He said: "From less than 100 of ya to over 14,000 of us...in less than 3 years!!!!! First ever UK arena show. Will never ever forget that, thank u all so much."

By the looks of these dancers, it seems like Lewis must be doing something right. We reckon he has more than a few more arena shows on the horizon...
