Music bosses desperate to team up with Love Island so hits can get exposure

Music bosses are reportedly desperate to get their signed artists' music on the 2021 series of Love Island.

The popular dating show is known to have brand new summer tunes which quickly become famous.

A source in the series told The Daily Star : "There is a lot of demand to get music onto Love Island this year, especially with fewer people going on holiday or going to clubs.

"It’s become a major means of introducing summer anthems to people."

Mirror have contacted ITV for comment.

Plans for the upcoming season of the ITV2 show are well underway and producers are busy whittling down their list of Islanders, so it's no surprise record labels are rushing to get deals done.

They are now working out who will feature at the beginning of the show and who will enter the villa later as bombshells.

According to reports, the contestants are already quarantining ahead of filming for the latest series.

The saucy singletons are already in Spain, where the series will be filmed, and we're already excited for the return of one of the nation's favourite reality series.

A source told The Sun : "Bosses are finalising who goes into the villa on the launch show right now.

"The cast are already in Spain, quarantining ahead of the first episode.

"Everyone's really excited - it's going to be the best series yet as they have some really interesting islanders lined up for the villa."

It was also reported that ITV2 will also finally have its first-ever disabled contestant in a bid to be more inclusive.

The producers apparently reached out to influencers with visible disabilities to ask them to be a part of the upcoming series that begins later this month.

A source told The Sun : "Casting are actively approaching for someone who visibly has a disability.

"It’s all part of the show trying to be as diverse as possible."

* Love Island 2021 begins Monday, 28th June on ITV2 at 9pm
