Musclefood announce an extra 2000 deliveries to help with demand due to Coronavirus

Leading online healthy food delivery retailer Musclefood have announced they are adding an extra 2000 next day delivery slots for hamper orders for customers to take advantage of from today.

With many food  delivery services and supermarket chains struggling to keep up with the demand due to the Coronavirus crisis, Musclefood will be offering increased deliveries of essential hampers filled with nutritious food.

The Musclefood hampers, worth£49.95, contains enough fresh meat for an average family and contain chicken, beef mince and steak, plus three items from their best seller range. In fact, they contain enough supplies for 24 healthy meals.

The additional next day delivery slots are available from today so make the most of them whilst you still can.

Musclefood are also urging shoppers to think of the elderly and vulnerable who they could buy for, or share their hamper with, which is a lovely idea if you have a vulnerable neighbour or family member to look after.

Nick Preston, musclefood.com CEO said: “At a time when other delivery services are struggling to cope with the unprecedented levels of demand, we wanted to find a way to get food out to people. We’ll be launching on 24th March with the service staying on as long as is needed and we can supply.”

“Creating an essentials hamper means everyone will be getting the same – preventing the urge to stockpile – and it cuts the time it takes our teams to pack the delivery and get it out to customers.”

“We are planning to extend the next day delivery service to other hampers in due course with that range extending over the next few weeks.”

Musclefood deliver across the UK and have standardised the order contents, so they can reduce the turnaround time from order to delivery considerably.

The retailer has seen unprecedented levels of traffic to its website over the last seven days.

New customers are currently accounting for around 68% of all orders month to date and revenue increase is 559% above the target.
