In celebration of the Aboriginal culture of south-east Australia, artist Jonathan Jones has curated a series of works that explore just one strand of Koori art practice, namely the use of line by male artists.

Line paintings can be traced through the generations as a clear cultural tradition, despite changing ideas, ideas and practices. The works include shields, paintings and works on paper that date from pre-contact to today. Artists featured include William Barak, Tommy McRae, Roy Kennedy, H.J. Wedge, Steaphan Paton and Reko Rennie.
