Murray invests £1.3 million in plate business

David Murray's Murray Metals Group has made a £1.3 million investment in its Murray Plate Processing Centre of Excellence in Middlesbrough.

As part of the investment programme it has installed a Thor profiling and machining centre as well as additional material storage and additional material storage and handling equipment.

Seawater farming and 3D images among Fresh Ideas recognised at SIE Awards 

The company said the investment will also enhance the plant's processing capability and enable it to offer a wider range of stock.
