Murieston United Community FC's under-16 girls secure sponsorship in West Lothian audiologist

A youth community girls’ football club have teamed up with local company Almond Hearing which has led to success both on and off the park.

Murieston United Community FC’s under-16 girls have linked up with the company, who have provided them with their first-ever away kit (pictured above) and helped bring success.

Almond Hearing, who are based near the club’s facilities, take care of your ears and hearing and boast a comprehensive audiology service.

Coach Fraser Kidd said: “The 2022 season saw the squad reach a healthy total of 17 players and they’ve had success on the pitch by making the semi-final of the South East League Cup and the last-32 of the Scottish Cup.

“But the biggest change has been the addition of a sponsor to the team and we’re proud to be sponsored by Almond Hearing.

“They are based a stone’s throw away from the Murieston United clubhouse and pitches and when they found out that the team were looking for a sponsor, they showed an interest and then jumped at the chance following a meeting between them and the club.”

He added: “Their sponsorship has led to the girls getting their first-ever away kit and the relationship and support Almond Hearing can give the girls is invaluable and much appreciated.”
