'Muric and Mir both on their way then' - Nottingham Forest fans have their say on starting XI at Hull

Rafa Mir’s exclusion for the second successive Nottingham Forest game could be an indication about his future, according some Reds supporters.

The Spanish striker was omitted from the matchday squad ahead of Forest’s Boxing Day trip to Hull City, following on from the weekend visit to west Yorkshire and Huddersfield.

Mir has failed to make an impression since making a loan move from Wolves in the summer and some believe it could spell the end of his Forest career, along with Manchester City stopper Aro Muric.

Muric is another left out on Humberside, with Jordan Smith preferred by Sabri Lamouchi to be the back-up keeper to number one Brice Samba.

Lamouch made just one change to his side at the KCOM Stadium, with Alfa Semedo coming in for Sammy Ameobi who joined Smith on the bench with the likes of Joao Carvalho, Michael Dawson and the returning Carl Jenkinson.

Forest are look to arrest an alarming run of form which has seen them go from the top sixth to tenth in the Championship, after failing to win in their last five.

The Reds’ last win came on the road at QPR in late November, a thumping 4-0 win and since then, they’ve picked up just two points in draws at Millwall and at home to struggling Middlesbrough.

Here’s what the fans have been saying pre-match…
