Murderous Meena's past finally catches up to her in Emmerdale

Meena's sister Manpreet could be in trouble over the Christmas period on Emmerdale.

The run-up to Christmas murderous Meena's past begins to catch up with her and she continues to spin a web of lies.

The killer is still yet to be caught as she lies to partner Billy about a pregnancy after Dawn's ex, Alex, turns up and introduces himself to Lucus as his real dad.

She lies to newcomer Alex, as she tells him that Dawn is neglecting their child, and leaves him worried.

But later Dawn and Billy share a kiss leading to Billy trying to end things with Meena.

Meena is stunned that Billy would dump her for Dawn, so she drops a bombshell that leaves him gobsmacked - she lies and tells him that she is pregnant with his child.

However, Meena's sister Manpreet is suspicious of the pregnancy and doesn't fully believe her.

She grows suspicious of Meena's behaviour and soon stumbles across a social media page for Nadine’s (Meena’s past victim) sister Carol and apprehensively sends her a message.

Manpreet meets up with Carol and is floored to discover that she believes Meena murdered Nadine.

But how safe will Manpreet be as she edges closer to the truth, as anyone else who has unearthed evidence has become a victim of the serial killer?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV and ITVHub with an extra episode on Thursdays at 8pm
