Two separate trials are set to be held against the 13 people accused of murdering a man.
The 10 men and three youths – accused of murdering 24-year-old Kamil Milczarczyk - cannot be accommodated in one court room it has been decided. With such a large amount of defendants and the trial at Hull Crown Court expected to last 10-12 weeks, a search for alternative court room was launched, reports Hull Live.
This was in part because of limited capacity in the cells at the court, but a suitable venue could not be found and two separate trials will now go ahead. The case will now be staged in two separate trials next year, one with seven defendants and the other with six.

The first is due to begin on January 4 and the second on February 21, and are expected to last between four and six weeks. The decision was mentioned at a hearing, involving the defendants, lawyers and a large number of family members of the accused.
More barristers appeared via video link and police officers were in court as well as representatives of the youth offending service. Another case management hearing will be held at the court on August 1.
All 13 defendants are accused of murdering Mr Milczarczyk in Princes Dock Street on March 24.
Police were called to reports of an argument at about 11.20pm and, after going to the scene, they discovered that Mr Milczarczyk had suffered a stab wound. He was taken to hospital for treatment but died from his injuries shortly afterwards.
