Murder suspect named by police after lorry driver's death

A 44-year-old man has been charged with murder after a lorry driver died following an incident on an industrial estate.

The emergency services were called out to Astmoor Industrial Estate in Runcorn on the evening of August 4.

Miroslaw Iwaniuk was rushed to Warrington hospital but sadly died.

Cheshire Police launched an investigation into the death, and arrested three people aged 47, 41 and 44 on suspicion of murder.

Today police have confirmed that Rafal Seremak, 44, of Wolomin in Poland has been charged with murder.

He will appear at North Cheshire Magistrates Court later today.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Following the investigation into the death, Rafal Seremak, 44, of Wolomin in Poland has been charged with murder and will appear at North Cheshire Magistrates Court on Saturday 7 August."

A 47-year-old man was released without charge and the 41-year-old man was released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
